Kodak 6.2Kw F10 fault
Thank you guys very much. so far segen will be repairing under warranty and if not the parts arent so expensive they sell complete boards from kodak themselves

Kodak 6.2Kw F10 fault
Evening Hope all are well.. last year we went of grid on the farm installed 3x Kodak 6.2kw inverters today one of them started with a f10 fault. Restarted and went to f09 fault F10 pv over current (used 25a pv fuses the did not blow) Pv array Ja solar 505w x 14 panels per inv- 2strings of 7 panels in series(voltage range 250v-280 inverter input spec 450-500v. Max charging current per inv is 70A load at the time was 2kw per inverter and 70a charging. no Grid connection at all. on the energy mate the pv input current jumped to 29A are these inv not suppose to cut solar power. Only use what it can?and not go over current? and then also what would be the fix to get the machine up and running again will Segen Solar cover under warranty as the machines aren't even a year old ? much help and advice would be appreciated if anything was done wrong so I can save the other inv before the same happens

Kodak 10kw overpanelling
Im running 6s2p per mppt way below max voltage

Kodak 10kw overpanelling
They have 2mmpts each rated at 5000w where they will have 6200w of panels per mppt so in total 12400kw of panels per og-10

Kodak 10kw overpanelling
I do have them yes 2 of them. Total panels on one of the og10 kw is 24 after the upgrade. So they will be ok? With the excess power?

Kodak 10kw overpanelling
Panels are 570w ja panels during summer we get around 520w per panel we want to change the strings to 12 panels per mppt. For cloudy days. so we will have 6200w per mppt in summer where the inverters mppts are only rated at 5000w so its around 2400w between the two inverters over the rated 5kw mppts. will they clip the power and only take 5kw? Without damage?

Kodak 10kw overpanelling
Hi guys looking for some advice we live on a farm with no eskom in sight newly buildt house paralleling 2x 10kw kodak inverters in summertime the panels were sufficient but now in winter we are struggling to get the batteries fully charged we added on panels so we are currently running 20 panels per inverter 5s2p/ mppt perfect within the inverter input voltage. but when summer comes and the panels perform better we will be in excess of around 1000w will the inverters just draw what they can handle or will they have problems because of the oversized pv array please keep in mind we are not pushing over voltages only the wattage is more than the mppt’s are rated

Paralel inverters in Sbu with one pv string
Good day im looking for some advice can you run inverters in paralel in sbu mode when only one inverter has pv connected? the other one draws the charge from the battery that the hst gives from excess solar? or will this damage the battery and or inverters

Guide: Setting up Greenrich batteries with Kodak inverters (and many other Voltronic inverters I assume)
Might be that the pyl bms setting is then only for the up5000 and not the smaller ones. Rather use the user setting then

The pyl batteries charge at 53V so its not pre pre programmed. also keep in mind that greenrich batteries charge at a much higher voltage. 57v is ok mine is at exactly the same voltage. The amperage tapers down as it reaches a higher SOC and then stops charging. if something does go wrong and the battery doesnt like the charge voltage it will turn of and go into alarm. Keep it on the pyl setting with the pyl cable that came with the inverter and you should not have any problems

Good day guys hope all of you are doing well. ive recently installed 4x545w canadian solar panels working with my up5000 pylontech and kodak og 5.48 off grid inverter when the utility os of due to loadshedding the panels are usaully enough to supply loads but when a tap is opened of the whasing machine is on it usually draws about 7 to 8 amps from the battery to supply the loads and then charge it up again.. does that shorten the battery lifespan? And count as a cycle even though Im only draining about 4% when the washing machine is on it puls from the battery ever other minute to keep it going and then it charges it again.. will it damage the batery? I just dont want to ruin the battery any advice will be really appreciated- Pylontech Up5000
Thanks alot for the advice guys- Pylontech Up5000

Evening guys ive got a 5kw hybrid kodak with a up5000 battery using the bms cable that came with the inverter so far no communication issues at all. At this stage the battery is just for loadshedding or cable theft..😂 so the grid is my main supply to loads.. to the question.. so ive noticed the battery charges about once day.. even when I havent used it and the battery level indicator lightd never switch off.. should I switch the battery of to preserve it until the crap starts again.. or will it be fine?.. I dont want to shorten the battery lifetime unnecessarily.. im new to these fancy things and not very clued up with them.. some help will be appreciated..- Advice needed: Pylontech DIP switch settings
Great thank you very much. if I add another up5000 battery. How do I set the dipswitch and charge amps. Leave them the same? And what setting on dip switch on battery number 2.- Advice needed: Pylontech DIP switch settings
Good day looking for a bit of help here. Sorry if it has been asked before. ive got a kodak 5kw off grid inverter and 1 pylontech up5000 battery. just want to make sure my dip switch is correct. what should dip seitch setting be when using the up5000 with the kodak og5.48. and i will aslo be adding another battery in a month or so what should the changes in the settings be then. ive also noted that with the bms cable connected the batery charges at 53.2v and stays there on float aswell. No problems so far with the bms connection. Just want to make sure all is well these things are so bloody expensive dont want to kill either one of them. Help on both questions will be highly appreciated - Up 5000 and 2180w pv array
