CFE 5100S Not getting charged up with DEYE 8kW inverter
Yip, thanks, I did. I had sent it back to the seller, who in turn had sent it to the service agents. It was returned fully charged and connected right up with no challenges.

CFE 5100S Not getting charged up with DEYE 8kW inverter
Thanks for the response, I was heading that way but was hoping for a lesser hassle solution. Thinking about it, if these are giving me trouble at such an early stage, what lies ahead?

CFE 5100S Not getting charged up with DEYE 8kW inverter
Good morning guys, PLEASE HELP!! With the recent spate of loadshedding in early July this year, my camel's back broke and I finally pulled the plug to borrow money on my house loan and invested in a solar system. It comprises of 12 of 545W Canadian Solar panels, one 8kW Deye hybrid inverter and two CFE 5100S batteries. In no time to waste, around mid-July, all was set up by the installer and according to the manuals. However, the batteries seemed low on charge as we could not initially get them energizing and connecting with the inverter. So eventually after some time, we got the batteries and system up and running. All smiles, even exporting to the grid!! So came loadshedding now in August and as the grid dropped, so did the system--- NO POWER, even though it was full sunshine! This only meant one thing, the batteries are NOT charged! I called the Seller's tech department and after having reviewed all the setting with him, all was fine and the conclusion was that the batteries protection had kicked in, even with running two weeks with grid and solar, with no loadshedding in this preceding period. So, out of frustration, I disconnected the CFE's and substituted them with 4 Lead Acid Batteries, connected in series to get the voltage up and changing the parameters on the Deye to lead acids. I then reconnected the system, now with the lead acids and, lo and behold, all smiles again, so much so that the lead acids batteries are even exporting to load or grid! So, proof of the pudding, with load shedding last night, NO SYSTEM TRIPS...Now my question, how I do I get these "expensive!" CFE's charged up and to at least, match the performance of the cheapy lead acid batteries?! PLEASE, PLEASE.
