  1. Evening, I took delivery of a Revolt 12 volt 80ah(1kw) lithium battery from Takealot a few days back. Unfortunately the battery is no longer supplied by them so cannot go back and confirm they stated a Mecer 1200va was compatible with this battery. I hooked it up anyway and it showed battery at 75% then in about 5 mins went to 100% but trickle charged for an hour. I ran a loadshedding test with about 150-200 watt being pulled but inverter stayed at 100% after 2.5 hours, i stopped the test and then only inverter showed 75% remaining. It took 4-5 hrs to get it back to 100% before inverter went into standby. ive since disconnected it and bought the Victron Blue Smart IP65 Battery Charger 12/5 230V, will set it lithium profile. If i buy a Victron Phoenix Inverter VE.Direct 12V 500VA 230V, can I leave the charger permanently connected to the battery. So charger from the wall connected to battery and battery connected to inverter? can I leave it like this or only connect the charger after a loadshedding schedule. I cannot find any info on this battery, website link on battery shows www.revoltenergy.co.za but the battery is not listed on the site, so even I get the charger I dont know what safety values to set. I am new to this so do not want to take any risks. Thanks in advance and sorry for the long read. Cheers.
