I have a Kodak 3.6 Hybrid inverter. I have 2xPylontech 2000 batteries and 4x460w solar panels connected to it. I noticed that after sunset, the battery will charge to 90% (which is the SOC setting), and immediately discharge or consume the battery once it reaches 90%. This happens while the grid power is on. It does not seem to stop. Is this normal? I do not see a setting that might might explain this behavior. The one setting on the battery I can change is set to "battery reserve" mode

i followed your advice jumper and that did solve the problem. The earth leakage was installed before the inverter. I moved it to the outlet and no more trips. Thank you for the advice.

Thank you Beat. it does make a lot of sense but I do not have any fridges on the inverter's output. It does make me think that the problem might be with the florescent lights or the energy savers. the other loads are: my laptop, wifi(12V) and computer monitor. I will also have a look at what you recommended jumper. i do have an earth leakage going to the inverter and not on the output of the inverter.

I have a Kodak 3.5kw inverter with one Pylontech US2000 battery. My emergency supply from the inverter is all the lights in the house and my office (Monitors + wifi router). Usually the load is between 200-400watt and it never exceeds 400w. I have a problem where I get a trip most of the time when there is load shedding or when i switch off the mains. The inverter gives me an "AC overcurrent" error. This error is not discussed in the manual. If you leave it for +-5min, the inverter comes on by itself and keeps running. No trips after that. it also does not happen all the time, but it does happen more than not. I can't figure out what the cause is. Are there any suggestions?
