  1. Will still do the bus bar and super duper big trunking for the battery cables For now I just connected all 3 cables to one terminal of the DC fuse box
  2. Good day all members I'm a computer tech / LP Gas installer working towards solar technician Got my system running for a month now Just Inverter + batteries No more loadshedding I think the thin I enjoy most is being able to user the oven and the microwave's time / clock function I can walk into the kitchen and see what time it is 😉 Will be time to mount the panels in a weeks time (Mounting on a cement fiber roof) Thinking of 6s2P ( 6 series x 2 and then parallel them to one mppt) This will leave the other mppt open for future upgrades I connected my batteries with 50mm cables The last bit of the cable where all 3 goes to one cable gets to +- 50 Degrees if in pulling big load Would it help to change that tp 70mm cables ? Please look at my photo and let me know what you think. Must still mount DC box for the pannels Got the whole house on the inverter Did not split my DB Running big speed queen tumble dryer + pool pump and all and all Thanks for all the info on this forum Pieter de Jager

  6. Mine is doing the same Counts one cycle even with only 16 % used How do you change the settings? If I just keep it like this would it negatively affect the batteries? I know it would appear much older/ used just because of the high cycle count
