  1. How would one go about doing this? Im not planning to do it myself , Im just curious. What would such a setup look like?
  2. Im talking about one of the breakers top left
  3. Hello Guys. I have a 16KW Deye single phase inverter with 5 Shoto batteries and 18 540w panels. Everything is running as essentials including geysers and stove. Yesterday night, I drew a high load (9 KW) from the batteries and the inverter tripped. When I opened up the inverter I saw that one of the 200A breakers inside between the batteries and inverter had tripped. This doesnt happen when there is input from the panels as the battery doesnt carry the whole load. Does this mean I can only draw 9.6KW (200A x 48v) from the batteries on the 16KW inverter before it trips? Why then is there a max discharge setting that can be higher than 200? Mine is set at 250A. If I set the max discharge setting to lower eg 180A , wil the inverter trip quicker or will it use the grid to supplement? Regards. Michael
  4. Hello guys. I have a 16 Kw Deye inveeter installed. The installer also installed a 40A breaker between the inverter and AC explaining that they do it to protect the inverter from overload. I feel it limits the capacity of the inverter as it will break as soon as I hit 9600W which beats the purpose of having the 16Kw inverter. Will it be safe to replace the breaker with a 60A breaker instead?
  5. Thanks for the reply. Thicker cables and breakers were installed yes.
  6. Hello guys. I recently got the following system installed: Deye 16kVa single phase inverter 18 JA Solar 545 panels 5 x Shoto sdc10 box5 batteries. My current Max Charge setting for the battery is 50A. It uses 2.65kW to charge the batteries from the panels and the rest goes to load. Can I raise the Max Charge amps to lets say 60 or 70? I am just worried that the batteries wont get to 100 coc by 18:00. The BMS says charge limit is 250A. Regards. Michael.
