  1. That's right, I have also encountered this communication problem, and my provider has also told me to program it as USE and discard the cable! Another problem is that Pylontech will not recognize the warranty years if the batteries do not register the instances of communication with the inverter! That no one says!
  2. Hello As I have already mentioned in other emails, I am a technical installer. I have bought several pieces of equipment over the years. 90% of the time, in the latest units that are prepared to work with lithium batteries, the problem is communication between the inverter and the Pylontech batteries (whatever the model). I have changed the communication cable several times and I have not been able to solve the problem. What forces me to not be able to select the type of battery "Ply" in program "05" and I have to put it in "User" mode with the pylontech charging parameters. This is not good because Pylontech does not recognize the 10 year guarantee for its batteries if the communication cable does not connect! I have had several problems with my clients. I have spoken with other technicians and other distributors and installers and the same thing happens to them. Some have said that it is due to a lack of updating of the inverter Firmware (even if it is new) Is it possible that the firmware of the inverters needs to be updated? Is there a link available where I can download the firmware? The other serious problem is that in isolated installations, these inverters recognize the alternating current from the generator set but do not go into battery charging mode! I have come across this serious problem many times and I don't know how to fix it. If I connect an input line from the power company, it works perfectly. But most of the generator sets of my clients are not used to charge the batteries through the inverter, since the unit demands too many requirements of an exact frequency of 50Hz, and free of harmonics. It is too strict as requirements, which makes this type of inverter impractical for use in isolated installations. On several occasions I had to resort to the use of an external battery charger! I would appreciate if you could give me a technical solution and tell me what I can do to remedy these problems with my clients. Thank you for any help
