Won't it trip the EL if neutrals are unbalanced when running through the batt?

Hi Leetpro, I tried a new EL with same result and I am sure the neutrals are connected correctly bc it works fine if I run it off battery only.

Hi, my inverter trips the EL between inverter and loads when AC power comes back on. I don't think there is an issue with one of the circuits bc when it runs of battery it does not trip. I run the AC to the inverter straight from main breaker. I think my inverter might be faulty bc when the problem started when I noticed the house lights flashed a couple of times then the inverted shutdown. After that I can only run off battery. I have to isolate the DB with the EL to charge battery with AC, then I have to turn off AC and run from battery.

My Synapse inverter trips the Earth Leakage (EL) breaker between inverter and loads, when utility power comes on. I doubt there is an issue with one of the circuits because if it runs off batt it's fine, but as soon as grid comes back on the EL trips. The AC to the inverter comes from the mains breaker not the EL in DB.
