In my case the bus voltage overload error was because my "Bulk Charging Voltage" was too high. I lowered mine to 27.1 v and never had the problem again. This will of course be different for your setup. Basically the Battery Cutoff voltage is the lowest you want your battery to go, and the Bulk Charging voltage the highest. I don't have BMS in my batteries - LifeP04, so I have to manage overvoltage form inverter.

Hi there. I joined the inverter brigade middle of this month. I ordered two LifeP04 12v batteries and the inverter from Takealot. The Synapse 3.0+ seems to handle the load shedding task very well. I run my 2 Fridges, all lights, 1.2kW Aircon, TV, modems and computer without a problem. I paired it with 2 x 12v Hubble S200's I'm still learning the software, but it works well with the watch power program, and although I had an error "08" "DC Bus voltage to high", it went away when I changed the Output Source Priority from Utility to SBU. This means the inverter first uses Solar then Battery and then Utility. Utility = Eskom I learned a lot in the past week, but does have a lot more work to do. The "08" Fault code is really haunting me. Contacted rubiconsa.com about the error, and they told me to bring it in - they'll need 10 days to fix it. - But I don't see me doing that during the christmas season, maybe afterwards.
