  2. Sofar inverter, battery discharging preferred over utility

    Good day all people more knowledgeable than me, Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to convey as I am a complete layman. I've installed a Sofar hybrid inverter with a Shoto battery (5 kw system). I'm fine during the day with the panels but the battery discharges in the evening even when there is power from the grid. And doesn't charge using the grid. It only charges via the panels. You can imagine this will become a problem in winter. Would anybody have some advice for me regarding this, please? Thank you kindly.
