  1. Synapse 1000w inverter

    Hello. This might be a stupid question but am a newbie to this new world of inverters, thanks to Eskom. Someone gave me a synapse 1000w inverter and when I plugged the inverter into the wall socket and pressed the on button nothing happened. I came across some info about a Meccer inverter where if the inverter is not connected to the batteries, the unit won't switch on...is this the case with the synapse 1000w inverter or is the inverter just not working? I wasn't given the manual and cannot find it anywhere on the internet. Please help this newbie.
