CFE-5100 S 5.12kWh Lithium battery wifi connection with CF energy app
My batteries were updated but the SOC reading and Voltage still does not add up. I got I touch with Raysteck and they confirmed that something is not 100% and that the BMS calibration may still be out. They suggested I disconnect the batteries then connect only one at a time changing the settings to lead-acid and discharging the battery to 48V then put it back on BMS communication and SOC and let it charge up to 100%. Now it cuts off at 10% but battery voltage is at 50.2 volt. Raysteck says that 10% cut off should be around 48 volt. So I will try this over the weekend.

CFE 5100s with Deye 8kw
Hi. I have a problem and I don't know where to start looking as I can not get the batteries on Smart Bess. The inverter is an 8kw Deye with 3 x CFE 5100s and 12 x 550watt panels. Everything was running good for 3 months now all of a sudden the batteries goes into fault and solar production cuts to 0.00 watt. The whole day they run perfectly then around 17:00 solar production fell from about 600 watt to 0.00 and batteries went into fault. What I did notice DC temp was sitting at around 47 - 48 then as the solar production got less the temp started to climb it was sitting at 53.70 and within 10min up to 54.40. I don't know if that can be why the batteries go into fault.

Thanks for the info. Battery's are fine now. I can't say anything bad about Raystech. I bought everything from a local suppler and installed myself. I am a qualified electrician and do installations however I don't advertise. But to the point contacted the suppler about my issue and they couldn't fix it they told me I need to get the batterys on the smart bess ells they can't help. Got in touch with Raystech self explained the problem. They confirmed it's firmware. Told them I am struggling to get the batterys on smart bess they assisted over the phone but still couldn't get them online. They told me they will phone me back, same day he phoned me back and told me he will come thru on Friday and update them. Friday morning phoned me confirmed a time and got here did the updates and checked the health and everything is 100%. I just had to keep them on Lead-acid and let them run down to 48 volt and then put them back to lithium mode and let them charge to calibrate the inverter with the BMS. They are running 100% now and the service I got from them is awesome and they back there product 100%. They are probably not the best but with the service I got I can't fault them.

Raystech (AKA CFE) 5100S batteries "tripping"?
Update. Got one battery showing "online" looks fine with all 16 cells at 3.33 volt each. Temp at 31 status:Normal. Other battery still showing offline. The one showing offline is the primary and was used to configure the wifi access as well.

Raystech (AKA CFE) 5100S batteries "tripping"?
@GrantCPT how is your batterys after the firmware update? Mine is doing the same as yours at 40% just drops down to 1%. Charge back up without any issues. I can't see anything on the app it is connected but batterys are always offline. But on the inverter the readings are also strange it reported 72% SOC with a voltage of 51.2volt then at 40% it was at 51.1volt then in seconds dropped to 50.9 volt and 1% SOC. My inverter was set to cut at 50% DOD as I don't want to run them hard if not needed and changed it to 30% because if the 4 hour loadshedding. But they die before the 30%

CFE-5100 S 5.12kWh Lithium battery wifi connection with CF energy app
When I got home the batterys were at 100% SOC at 53.6 volts. I changed the settings on the inverter to Lead-Acid and 200A. It does not pick up that there are 2 in Parallel but SOC dropped to 85%. What should I put the charge settings at and if in Lead-acid should I remove the communication cable between inverter and batterys?

@PieterOThe link to the video connecting the batterys is Private so I can not watch it.

CFE-5100 S 5.12kWh Lithium battery wifi connection with CF energy app
Good morning. I have an Luxpower SNA 5000 with 2 Raystech 5100s batterys. Myne also cycles between 100% and 90% then charge up again. Everything was fine my Discharge cutoff when the inverter shuts off was set to 40% and with 2 hour loadshedding never had to drain them less then about 50 - 55%. Now the first 4 hour loadshedding again the inverter switched off. Knowing cut is at 40% went to change the setting to 20% as we had 30 min left of loadshedding. Battery is showing Normal green light but on the inverter SOC was at 1% and battery voltage was at 51.7 volt. Measured with the multimeter the voltage is correct but the slave is abit lower then the master. Also my inverter settings are as follow. Charge current limit is set at 110A inverter default from BMS, AC charge current is 30A, Discharge current limit is set to 60A. I thought that can be the problem so changed it back to inverter default of 110A. No change. I am also struggling to get the batterys connected to the Smart Bess app.

CFE-5100 S 5.12kWh Lithium battery wifi connection with CF energy app
Hi all. I can't see BMS info on inverter. it's just blank. Deye 8kw inverter and 3 x CFE 5.12kwh. Also should the - pole of last slave battery run to inverter - and + from master to inverter +? I am under the impression this is only for series connection? currently + and - go to inverter from master battery.
