  1. Anyone else experienced something similar whilst I wait in angst for my inverter to be repaired?
  2. Thank you @YellowTapemeasure.... That helps zoning in on the problem
  3. "NO BATTERY" and then the battery fault light goes on for a period of +/- 20 minutes, and after that it restores itself - - - the problem is, during that period, the inverter does not supply the load. It's as if the Battery sends a signal to the inverter to say "something is not right" and is shuts off supply and then starts correcting itself.
  4. Thank you for your response @YellowTapemeasure, I did actually take the battery to the supplier to update Firmware as this damn CFE WiFi functionality does not seem to work (it just doesnt want to go into pairing mode on either of the techniques the app instructions allow 😞 they did confirm that the Firmware was up-to-date, so there I dont know.... I think I'll take it back again once my inverter returns and the loan unit is exchanged - hopefully it will then work. Otherwise, for now, I just turn off Grid fee during the day and allow PV to power solely... A schlepp - but a necessary one I guess.
  5. @Matthys Koch, thank you, I'll try it, but the Inverter Manual says it should be disabled (not much reason why though) Thanks I'll try and let you know?
  6. @mzezman, is that what you looking for? Grid is down at the moment so not sure if you'll see what you need to see.... Running on PV power at present
  7. @mzezman, thank you for your willingness to assist. Attached are all the pics.
  8. Okay, I'll do it first thing in the morning. Thank you 😊
  9. That's exactly my point. The Battery Graphs don't help, they are all 100% when it trips. Then I restart the system, and it returns to 100% and the PV Supplies the load. It's as if the Battery is overloading and when grid stops, the PV trips the battery and the trip sends a message to the inverter to shut off....
  10. Hello All Not new to this forum, have learnt a lot from members over a period, but new to having my own "unsolvable" issue. I have a 5kw Deye Inverter, 6x 460W Mono Panels and a 5.12 CFE Li-ion Battery. I've built the system over a period. Started off as a load-shedding back-up (i.e. excluding panels) and recently (January) added panels. I've installed in July 2022 and it was running fine - but suddenly started shutting down and losing proper comms with the BMS. Upon inspection, we found that the LAN port on the Circuit Board of the Inverter was damaged and needed replacement. After much duress, the supplier has given me a loan unit whilst my inverter is being repaired. However, this has happened whilst getting the panels installed. So, the loan unit, seems to be fully operational and the PV supplies my load effortlessly without grid being needed (most of the time), however, I find that once the Battery i fully charged (i.e. 100%) AND the PV is supplying the load, when the grid drops (i.e. Load-Shedding), the Battery Trips and needs to be restarted (or left for a couple of minutes to restart) in order for the inverter to resupply the load. This only happens during the day when PV is supplying the load - when the grid drops at night, this is not a problem, the changeover happens as per normal. I've had to resort to turn off the panels about an Hour Prior to load-shedding in an effort to discharge the battery slightly by the time load-shedding kicks in, but I am not always successful because the Grid is still on and technically, it suppies the load without the need for the battery so the battery stays on 100%. What can be done? I cant always turn off the PV and hope for battery discharge, as the device is designed change over automatically (and obviously, something I need to happen). Any help would be appreciated! T.I.A.
