Where to begin. Used an installer that my folks & brother had used for their installation. All was workjng fine with mine until the battery wasn't charging properly. Turns out I needed a BMS cable. According to my installer it was settings issue. Got another installer in & he started to point out all the issues. From there, it has been noticed that original installer charged me for items he never installed including surge protection, changeover switch & 2 combiner boxes (he put ac & dc together in a 8w db box), wires weren't connected properly & no earthing was done. When doing further investigations, he used same COC certificate for both my brother & myself with so many other issues. Getting AIA involved, but not sure if it will be worth the extra costs cause I do not see myself getting anything back from this guy. Doesn't even have legit business

So hoping I win this inverter. Need some good energy in my life after my installer has taken me for a ride on my old system.

looking to invest in growatt 5kva hybrid inverter with greenrich up5000 battery. Can it be set up that grid doesn't charge battery & it is only charged via solar panels?
