 Yes I have seen that in fact I have a virtually identical one running in my home brew inverter trolley that I made to keep me going through load shedding until I get to a full house system. Of course as you say they are rather large and my goal was to see if I could achieve a compliant result in a DIN form factor.
After a bit of research as mentioned in my first post I found that both ABB and CBI produce bi-directional MCB's, however they are both very expensive as well as hard to come by. As a matter of interest certainly one of the ABB bi-directional breakers claimed to have 2 arc suppression chambers (can't find the doc again), the CBI seems to use some other tech to achieve the necessary result. Both of these are available in 125a versions in an MCB form factor.
 

Yes it does require a considerable effort to turn on or off.
 

Hello everyone.  For those of you like me who are looking to compare the various panel spec sheets, here is one i have put together from the data sheets for the panel manufacturers and size range that I am interested in.  Feel free to add to it if you have additional info.  THe sheet has info for Canadian Solar, JA Solar and Jinko Solar panels from 570 to 630 watts.
