East/west panel installation
I dont think our installers gave us enough info. That is atleast 76%. I do not even see 40% for morning or afternoon sun. 2200 per side. I need to investigate this mismatch voltage and current issue. If you find a site please share it with me. All of the best with your situation.

East/west panel installation
Thank you very much for your very detailed explanation. I was expecting around 70%. I did not know it would below 60%. A 2 X MTTP inverter was supposed to be installed but a 1 X MTTP inverter was installed instead. This might be my "underlying disappointment". This would have given me better production. It is what it is. I will just add an additional panel per side and it should give me what I expected from the current installation.

East/west panel installation
Midday production is about 2600W. It is less than 60% on an ideal day. At 9:30 it is about 650W (from the 2200W potential generation) on a great day. At 15:00 it is about 500W (2200W potential generation from west) on a great day. I will do more more when I am at home during the day. Today is cloudy so it will not help.

We had a system installed but the production is very frustrating. Can the east and west panels be installed on the same MTTP? I am now trying to get proper info so that this can be rectified. Growatt ES5000 Hubble 5.5kWh 8 X 550W candian solar panels. (4 east and 4 west) Please assist

Panels and orientation
Good day I had to install 4 X panels east and 4 X panels west all on 1 MPPT. I see you say that this must not be done. Can you please explain and assist?

East/West panel installation
Good evening My 8 panels had to be installed 4 X east and 4 X west to one MPPT. There was no other choice. It is 550W candian panels. There is no shading. What production should I expect from the panels in Nelspruit? Moring @ 10:00 Mid day @ 12:30 Afternoon @ 15:00

kWh generate by panels
Our electric kettle lid broke just before installing the solar. I decided not to replace it. I need to rethink this decision.

kWh generate by panels
Thank you very much. I increased the geyser time and temperature already. Most of our cooking is done on the gas top. I will tell my wife to increase the cooking in the oven. Also to use the slow cooker once a week. I have no knowledge on the programming side. I am also "blind" because the dongle and app has not been installed and setup. All that I can see is that we are using way to much Eskom. You are right when saying the battery is mostly charged by the grid. This must stop but I dont want to fiddle to much.

Everything is on timers. I am still playing around with this. Not everything will run each day. Based on a sunny day. Inverter not programed properly yet. Waiting for installer with dongle and to make program changes. Dishwasher - 8:30 to 11:00 (1.5kW) Geyser - 12:00 to 13:00 (3kW) Swimming pool - 13:30 to 15:30 (1.5kW) Washing machine 15:30 to 16:00 (0.5kW) Airfryer 16:30 to 16:45 (0.5kW) Battery (4.5kW) 8:00 tot 17:00 charging. Other (1.5kW) 8:00 tot 17:00 Total day - 13kW Battery supply 4.5kW (hubble 5.5kWh) from 17:00 to 03:00. Eksom should then carry the house load till 8:30. Not charging the battery. No "heavy" appliances from 03:00 to 8:30. Total night - 6.5kW Eskom 2-3kWh form 03:00 to 8:30. Eskom usage before solar was between 12 and 14 units a day. The above "plan" is for 18.5 unit. Way over actual usage. Will my plan work with this system? What am I missing? 1 X Growatt 5000ES Inverter 1 X Hubble 5.5kWh battery 8 X 550 Canadian panels

You have given me a lot of advice i the last few days. Thank you so much. This is for 5 sunny days. Is it possible to only generate 8.4kWh per day?
