    If you use CSO under 3 it will charge battery when there is mains and you have no solar. This keeps battery charged. It will then use Solar during the day and only mains if there is zero solar which only happens after sunset. 
    If you use Util as your priority it will work as a UPS and battery will always be full up to the point that you loose the mains.

    30A charge current at the battery Voltage is ballpark 900-1000W max solar charging power. Split over two battery "strings" in parallel, that's 15A flowing through each battery. Check battery datasheet if in doubt, but 15A should be okay. Also means you have more solar power, ballpark 1000W, to help cover daytime loads. Before you had half that.
