I decided to opt for (x4) 100ah Lead Carbon batteries and had them installed this evening. Hoping for the best, anticipate their longevity. To ensure efficient use of the batteries during load shedding, I have set the Goodwe in Back-mode. However, require assistance to confirm the configuration settings. Please refer to the attached screen grabs. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cef, My Goodwe is 7+ years old - serial number 34048E…….. As Bobster advised - Pylontech lithium batteries will work, SOC will be maintained by inverter.

Thanks Markus, Happy Days- manual configuration worked. Inverter successfully connected to my home WiFi. Now I’m struggling to get the SEMS Portal to work - plant is showing offline. Logged a ticket with Goodwe yesterday to remotely update the firmware on the inverter. Hope I’ll be assisted today still.

I am writing to seek assistance with establishing a connection between my inverter and my internet router. I have been struggling to get them to connect, despite following the setup process using EzManage. Here are the steps I have taken: connected my iPhone to the inverter's WiFi. launched EzManage. went to settings. selected "Configure Wi-Fi quickly". scanned for available networks. selected my network. entered the password. However, after completing these steps, EzManage returned a message stating "send failed." I have confirmed that the Wi-Fi signal is strong at the location of the inverter. I would greatly appreciate any ideas or suggestions you may have to help resolve this issue. I need the Wi-Fi working in order for the Goodwe support team to update the firmware remotely.

Don’t see any firmware updates for the GW5048D-ES on the Goodwe support site. Any ideas how best to get the latest firmware?

Current firmware has settings for Pylon US2000A/B not US3000c. There are also settings for lithium - 50Ah and 100Ah. I’m I correct in assuming using the setting lithium 100Ah for the US3000c will do the trick?

I can confirm it is a GW50448D-ES. I’ve not made the Pylontech purchase as yet. Wanted to confirm compatibility first.

Thank you for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Lead Carbon batteries with a configuration of (4x) 200AH could be an alternative option. is this recommended?

I recently joined the forum and I'm excited to be part of the community. I look forward to contributing and helping others with their questions. I have a Goodwe inverter, specifically the GW5048D-ES model, and I wanted to confirm if the Pylontech US3000C Lithium batteries are compatible with it. Can you please provide me with this information?
