BETA FIRMWARE AXPERT MAX 8 KW >>>MPPT improvement<<< (Based on stable 90.06)
confusion increasing.... So, the 72.68 was first released on 2th May, with the name MAX_HV_8k 72.68.7z, containing the file "MAX_HV8K 72.68.inv" and now 5th May, another 72.68 was released, with the name "MAX8K_DSP_7268.7z". Inside we have the "MAX8K_7268.inv" file and a pdf named "MAX DSP 28066 Firmware Upgrade SOP via RS232.pdf". Made a diff and the files are not the same. @Coulomb as you are the expert, can you shed some lights with this? I'm currently on the 72.66 version... so which one from above should I choose? Why the firmware's are different? MAX8K_DSP_7268.7z MAX_HV_8k 72.68.7z

has anybody tested the 72.68 version? mppsolar has not yet released this version on their website, so for now only on the voltronic sever can be found. because of a recently failed update on a sv4 (error 32) I'm afraid to be the first one to try it (PS: I see some fellow Romanians here )

to reply myself, the DSP file (vp5k) and the "InvConfigFile.ini" are 100% identical (mmp solar firmware vs smw firmware). The Mpp Solar archive does not contains the "ArenaINVReflashTool.exe", but in the pdf file they are talking about same flasher tool. So the answer it is any of them.

Hello guys, So the official 72.66 version (from mpp solar, for 8048Max https://www.mppsolar.com/v3/8048maxmppt/) can be installed on the easun smw 8kw? Last week I bricked my Easun igrid sv4, with error 32 (I could not reflash anymore the dsp) and now I ordered the smw 8kw. So, because of that, I just want to be sure, not to brick also this new inverter. Thanks! Edit: or one of the voltronic ftp? if yes, what is with the serial numbers from the filename?
