  2. Just an update after 3 x months of use: Working nicely, no major issues. Have discovered an issue that bugs me, the BMS would not allow charge of batteries when above 90% SOC, only when battery SOC is below 90% it would charge to 100%. I end up going into low 90% on some days at 15:00 already with lots of PV available but not getting used to topup batteries.
  3. Good day, I’m looking at installing a backup system, I will look at installing solar panels at a later stage, using the Esener 5.5Kw/5500w 100A Pure Sine Wave Solar Inverter (5.5KW-48-P) or the Growatt SPF 5000 ES inverter in combination with the Solarix Esener 51.2V 100Sh LiFePo4 Single Battery Module-LCD Control panel. I will be using the backup system purely for essentials. The stove is already gas and the geyser is solar / tubes. Is there anyone currently with this setup? If so, how are you finding the setup so far? How much load have you ran through the inverter? Any issues you're currently experiencing or you would like to point out? Can you pickup when loadshedding kicks in with lights dimming or appliances going off and on for a few milliseconds? Looking forward to hearing your feedback and experience.
  4. Good day, I'm looking at a similar setup but haven't bought yet as I'm currently between the Esener inverter and the Growatt SPF 5000 inverter. I want to start with just a backup system to run the essentials and at a later stage look at solar panels. The geyser is already solar / tubes and the stove is gas and I'm not looking at running the non-essentials through the inverter at all. As this will purely be a backup system for now, the battery will be charged through Eskom once the power comes back on. How are you finding the setup so far? 7. I got two installed on Friday. So far so good. Little confused however, the manual and website specs states rated capacity as 110Ah but specs sticker on the battery says rated capacity is 100Ah. But the Deye immediately started communicating with batteries.
