    Hi all, I have a Deye 5kW inverter and I'm looking to get the minimum amount of panels in order for the MPPT to function. From the inverter datasheet the startup voltage is stated as 150V. I'm looking at the Canadian 455 panels: https://www.voltex.co.za/product/canadian-solar-panel-455w/ From what I could see the operating voltage on these panels are around 40V. Would 4 of these panels be sufficient to keep the MPPT on? I am mainly looking for enough power to charge a single 5kw battery during the day. Thanks

  3. Volta Stage 1 Not Charging with Deye

    I have a brand new Volta Stage 1 and Deye 5kW inverter installed a week ago. After running fine for a few days, the battery stops charging when power to the grid returns. It has happened twice now, each time the battery discharged to 93% and when the grid returns it stays in Stand By mode and does not charge until I switch the battery off and on again. Anyone experienced this before or have any ideas what the problem could be?
