  1. Number of "Mains" switches on DB board

    zizu posted a topic in Inverters
    Hi In process of installing an Inverter & battery I was told that the DB must have 1 mains switch to switch off power to the DB...this is a compliance requirements (apparently) but i want to put a changover switch that allows the DB to be powered by the inverter when i choose. The inverter will have a separate switch to isolate its input as well. so now i have 2 "mains switches" in the DB, One for the grid input and other for the inverter input. is this compliant? or should i install 1 X 4 pole mains switch...breaking both grid and inverter power at the same time. help...tx!
