  1. Thanks for the input appreciate it Sorted.
  2. Hi There Forum newbie here Recently installed a Sun Solar 2kva 1600W 12v inverter with a 200ah Revov lithium battery. I know it’s a cheapie, but I couldn’t find any 12v inverters at that wattage range. Wanted to go for a 12v system as I don’t need a big system for my needs and can get away with only 1 lithium battery. First question is when I test the voltage at the battery terminals when the inverter is off, then I get the correct voltage of the battery. As soon as I turn on the inverter then the voltage disappears from the terminals, or I get random voltages jumping around under 6 or 7 volts. Tested this with a lead acid battery as well and it does the same. The battery charges up to 100% on the BMS and seems to be fine. Also voltages on the inverter looks fine although the top battery bar keeps flashing and doesn’t turn solid as with my previous inverter. The charge light does however turn solid. Is this normal as my previous 1000W Mecer inverter did not do this, and the voltages tested fine on the terminals when the inverter was on? All inverter settings are correct as are Bulk/float and cut off voltages as per spec of the battery. Also Tested different battery cables. Second question is whenever a load of 200W or more is applied to the inverter, either when on battery or AC power then the fans spin 100% but they never shut off even if the load drops to below 200W again. As soon as I turn off all loads to the system the fans stop and stay quiet if I keep the load under 200W again. I guess that’s what you get with these cheapie inverters, just thought there might be generic firmware to alter this. (Think mine is U1 122.13) Sorry if this sounds stupid but would appreciate it if anyone have some advice on the above. Just don’t want to damage the battery if this is an inverter fault maybe. Thanks in advance
