I recently acquired 2x Luxpower SNA 5000 inverters to replace my old Axpert 5kw parallel set up.
The problem I'm having, is I have no idea if the inverters are actually "speaking" to each other. The Axperts would have an indicator on their displays to say if they were master/slave (parallel comms working). The Luxpowers, as far as I can tell, have no such indicator on their display.
Both inverters have been set to parallel, single phase, shared battery on the inverters themselves. Dipswitches 1+2 set to ON for both inverters, 2x standard straight RJ45 cables for parallel comms (some of their videos show 1x cable for 2 in parallel, others 2x cables). There's no warnings or errors when both inverters are switched on (AC or running off batteries), however I've been hesitant to switch on the EPS until I can confirm the inverters are actually correctly set up in parallel.
I don't have an installer Luxpower account, only an end user account 🤦♂️, and the Luxpower videos and manuals all go through Parallel settings on the Luxpower portal to complete the parallel setup.
Are there mandatory steps in the Luxpower portal to get parallel working, or is it just for monitoring? Is there an indicator on the LCD to indicate parallel comms is working?
