    Threaded a data cable (like those used to install beams in the house etc.) through my roof-top panels (each frame has several holes for earth connection/mounting) to create a closed loop which I connected to a (paradox) transmitter (located inside) paired with my alarm system. Stealing the panels would result in the cable being cut breaking the loop and triggering the alarm
