  1. Good day everyone. I have a Deye 5k and 10kw battery system with 10x 550w panels. My electrician has set up everything and all works great, he has shown me through how all the grid charge stuff works and I am happy with what I have, however there is one thing i want to do i would like to run just my batteries and not eskom during the night. Lets say from 8pm until 8am the following morning on just our 10kw battery, is this possible and how do we set this up on the inverter itself? We have the system set so during the day the solar charges the battery and only if the batteries drop to 60% after 9pm and before 8am then eskom kicks in however I have found that we only pull about 200w an hour during the night so we can easily get through the whole night without eskom but I am not sure how I set it up so that it automatically switches to battery load throughout the night (in a way creating our own loadshedding schedule). Is this possible at all? In simple terms, Solar in the day, battery only at night and eskom if needed to charge the batteries or for some extra load.
