  1. you can use the dry contact of the inverter and a contactor. it will do it automatically
  2. What firmware are you currently on? How do you measure the power feed to grid?
  3. Maybe i'm missing something here but why you want to enable it? just disable. In my case that feature is even disabled. it fails when i press "Read"
  4. Nope, no big load was on the inverter at that point. Later in the day there will be sun and i will see how the South mppt perform. there's is no way that in Autumn 3300wp(used 275w) pointed esat at 18° tilt will outperform the new 3300wp facing south at 80° tilt. The sun is really low now, remember i'm at the northern emisphere in Italy 😀. do you agree? What max Voltage should i except in both the mppts? Thanks
  5. something funny is happening to the mppts now i think
  6. Hello, i indeed correctly updated from 72.03 to 272.66 and i noticed an improvement yesterday morning with the voltage ramp. There were 4 panels with 38VOC x410w mounted but in the afternoon i added another 4 panels in series and i can tell that the max production was not really great. It's not easy to tell from the graph because there was not much light. maybe the max voltage is limited on one of the two mppt? i resemble reading something like that in the thread. The actual configuration is this: MPPT1: 3300w 38VOC 8sx410w MPPT2: 3300w 38VOC 2p6s275w(used) In the graph you can see where i added the 2 last panels around 12:10 and another 2 at 14:15ish. the light was not great but maybe evenly bad. No sun but nether really dark. What do you think @Coulomb?
  7. Just bought the serial cable from amazon and i can confirm that i'm still on 72.03. Since i have the cable now i try the serial method.
  8. Hello @Coulomb, i tried twice with usb OTG method and all seemed to work since the first led on the left was bleeping for 15 minutes and then went back to the main display but in the display panel i still got 72.03. The only oddity is that after returning back to the main (after it supposedly flashed the fw) no button worked and i needed to reboot the inverter. after that the inverter is working ok but still no fw update
  9. I will try for sure asap! In regard of updating with USB with the usb drive could this works? I alrady have a spare one. Otherwise i have a Female USB-A to microusb that *supposedly* is an OTG cable. But i can't count on that. What are the risks not having anOTG cable? Simply not able to flash the firmware? Thanks again
  10. Hello to all, first post here! I'm in need of some help from you guys with the upgrade of my AXPERT MAX 8KW (the usual orange Solarpower24 sold in Italy) . I'm a bit lost in the thread after reading back and forth the various pages and I'm not sure what are the option for me. The main goal for me is to resolve the famous 90v "bug" that holds back the MPPT from upping the voltage. On one MPPT i have 2s6p of these used 275w panels that are listed for 9.3a ISC and 38v VOC. Being with a parallel the max voltage is low so i need the right firmware i suppose. Actually i'm on there FW's: Main CPU 72.03 , Secondary CPU 112.14
