GoodWe HCA G2 issues
The GoodWe HCA G2 11kW charger is connected to the internet via cable and is also connected to the GW10K-ET inverter. The communication status with the grid, inverter, and cloud is normal. I connected my car and started charging the vehicle in Fast mode. Initially, the power was around 3000W, but then it dropped to 1500W for no apparent reason. I updated the charger's firmware to the latest version. I thought it would improve things, but it got worse. The charger seems to start, and the car initiates charging, but in practice, it immediately disconnects without actually starting the charge.The only workaround is to disconnect the RS485 cable from the inverter. When I do this, the charger works normally, but the "smart modes" are not available. Has anyone experienced a similar Modbus (RS485) communication conflict between the HCA G2 charger and the GW-ET inverter after updating the charger's firmware? Is there a known, stable firmware version combination for the GW10K-ET inverter and the HCA G2 charger that ensures reliable operation of the smart modes? I would appreciate any suggestions on where to troubleshoot the issue—is it in the SolarGo/SEMS settings, or perhaps related to the Modbus addresses?

The problem was solved by sending the storage to an independent service center. The biggest challenge was the shipment to the service workshop. Luckily, I still had the original boxes. Thank you for your support.

Hi, Good morning from Poland. I found this forum as a mine of information. I have 30xSharp 410W solar panels and GoodWe ET Plus 10kW inverter paired with GoodWe Lynx FH Power storage. Now I'm experiencing issues with GoodWe Lynx FH Power storage. To the existing 6,6kWh power storage ("tower" 2x3,3kWh) electrician added one new 3,3kWh module. Unfortunately new module was added without prior balancing. It was mistake, because modules are connected in series... After expansion system started working abnormally. SOC was jumping by dozens of percents. Real, usable capacity doped to approx 4kWh. GoodWe support do not provided any tips how to deal with this situation. To solve this problem, I decided to balance system by myself. I turn off power storage for several hours. Then I switch it back on, checked total voltage in SolarGo app (reading was 312,6V). Then I remove one new module and checked voltage of two "old modules" (reading was 210,6V). Basing on voltage readings I calculated voltage of the new module 312,6V-210,6V=102V. So I estimated desired voltage of old modules into 2*102V=204V I discharged two new modules from 210,6V into 204V. Then I added new module. Voltage reading was initially 306V (just perfect), after few minutes it jumped into 306,7V. After this procedure storage works better, but still not as good as before expansion. SOC drops still occurs, but are lower. It looks like another balancing is needed. Any suggestions or ideas are warmly welcome. It looks like I should repeat previous procedure one more time?
