  1. Thanks

    Hi Jfmm and coulomb,
When setting the SOC% values (in my case) it needs to be done on the ACTUAL converter (using the physical panel on the inverter) It cannot be done via any app.
After that, the inverter WILL react accordingly. HOWEVER: NONE of the existing Apps (as far as I know) will REPORT in SOC%. WatchPower, Energy-Mate and Dessmonitor (via a browser) Will ALL still report in Voltage terms. My guess is that Voltronic has changed from Voltage to SOC%, But that tha actual apps have NOT adapted nor upgraded.

You're welcome. But I am afraid that only Coulomb will be able to provide the answer on the firmware versions. Good Luck.

    Hi Coulomb,
Just successfully updated to 81.08 and 22.25. But to no avail. I still get Voltage readings.
Could I be doing something wrong?

    Morning peoples
Yesterday i did some digging and found out that Voltronic (the manufacturers of rebranded inverters like Mecer, Kodak, RCT and more) released an upgrade to WatchPower/SolarPower named Energy-Mate. Voltronic Power News. Available on Google Store. It is still buggy (spelling errors etc.), but it is MUCH better with usable graphs. It uses the same login details as WatchPower so your whole history is retained.
You don't have intelligent DB control, but you can manage inverter settings and have decent feedback

Maybe I should write to them: "How much will 1000 units that can read SOC cost, and when can I have them?"😆

    No, the two amps is at the battery end of the "battery charger". So it's about 2 A x 50 V (assuming a 48 V model) x 8 h = 800Wh. For a 24 V model halve that.
But the self consumption is about an amp, so halve that again. This setting is basically designed to cover the self consumption and leave a tiny bit spare for leeway.
