I had the same issue. But then it stopped by itself. But it is possible that the installer did a software upgrade in mean time remotely. I will find out from him. But suddenly did the same yesterday after a few months.

Sakkie mine originally also started with maybe once a month or second month. But then suddenly started with daily tripping.

Just some feedback. Replacing the earth leakage did not work. It still trips about 50% of the time when electricity comes back. There is no pattern to it tripping unfortunately. It has to be some problem with the Inverter itself. So the search for the problem continues.

The installer said that he did yes. Unfortunately he cannot get here any time soon to come and check. But also, he has never experienced it either before so don't know what is causing it either. But we will get a new EL and see if it solves the problem. I will report back here.

Correct! It is the EL after the inverter that trips when power is restored.

Thanks Psyclown. It was not me that asked that question on the whatsapp group. I am not part of that group. It is an Earth Leakage breaker that trips. Connected to it is the lights in the house, 2 fridge/freezers, tv and associated, aquarium pump and filter, and various other small bits and bobs, nothing that will use a lot of power. It is a single SNA500 on its own, with a 5kva battery. I also considered a possibly surge when Eskom restores after loadshedding, but I then testes it by tripping the incoming power from the main switch, and when I switch it back on it foes exactly the same as when power is restored after loadshedding. It started by tripping every now and then, but it has now increased in regularity and now doing it almost everytime. Thinking about it now, it might point to a faulty breaker?

Hi all. Hoping for some guidance. I have had a Luxpower SNV5000 installed for a couple of months now, and it has worked almost flawlessly. However, the last 2 weeks an issue has risen its head once loadshedding is over and Eskom power comes back in. As soon as power comes back, the 63A breaker that was installed after the inverter trips. Switching the breaker back on restores electricity to the house immediately, it doesn't trip again, until after the next loadshed. Nothing in the system was changed, and no new equipment added in the house. So it is strange that it just started out of nowhere, and also that it doesn't trip again when switched on again. Any advice about this or where to look for the problem will be appreciated.
