  1. Thanks, got sorted.
  2. I have the ICC software to monitor my inverter and i am on version 2.3.9 and I see there is a 2.4.4 version. How do I do an upgrade on the Rasberry?
  3. Wow this topic has brought some interesting things up and most of it i do not understand. Would my Axpert 5kva inverter be in danger with my array of 3X330w JA panels. What would the the max volts be that this will create?
  4. Thanks guys, appreciate your feedback. Make sense now
  5. Chris, Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. If I understand you correctly, it is best to fuse each panel and then a fuse after Y connector. Fuses for the panels can be 10 A and then the one after the Y connector 25 A. Sorry for all the questions Thanks again Leon
  6. Chris Thanks I have 2 strings of 3 x 330 w panels. Just to be sure what i am doing do i need to fuse the string or each panel and what size of fuse would i need. If i put a fuse after the 2 strings are combined what size of fuse would i need then. Really appreciate everyone's input. I have learned a lot so far
  7. Thanks so much I will check the diodes and get some of these din mount fuses. Do I need one for pos and one for neg or one for each string. Where do i mount these? I do have a disconnect switch for the panels. Can i use these type of fuses?
  8. Plonkster, I do not have inline fuses from the panels to the inverter, I have now searched the net and cannot find any. Where can i get some and what size do I need. I have two strings of 3x330w panels. thanks
  9. Thank you very much for the info, I will check the settings. The system is running again after the manual restart But looking at what Plonkster said 2.1 looks like the issue
  10. Thanks Chris it went off at around 12:00 and when i got home after work it still was off 15:00
  11. I can't find the reason for my PV switching off, no error codes My system - 5kva Axpert inverter, 2 strings of JA solar 330w panels and 2 Pylontech 2400w batteries and using the ICC system to monitor. The system has been performing well until yesterday at about 12:00 when the panels were producing about 1650w and the load was about 25% on the inverter and then the watts from the panels dropped to zero, the sun was out no clouds at all and I could not get the PV back. After shutting the system down and then up again the PV came back. Any ideas or experience like this Thanks
  12. Thank you, appreciate
  13. Another question about the Rasberrey and the ICC, is it possible to load the Axpert Watchpower software on the Rasberrey to run alongside the ICC software If possible how do I install Watchpower on the Rasberry. what I like from Watchpower is the log details not sure if the same is available in ICC Thanks Leon
  14. Plonkster/Colin Yippie, I removed the cable from the CAN and everything is working now. THANKS everyone for your help and input, really appreciate it, now I can see what my system is up to Regards Leon
  15. Thanks so much for the explantion, I will remove the cable this afternoon and see what happens. What I need from the ICC is to see at what stage in the morning my batteries are fully charged as I want to add more load during the day, I believe the system is idling part of the day.
  16. Thanks Plonkster, Very new to this and still learning. Am I correct in saying that the cable from the CAN port on the Pylontech is not required? Was not at home yesterday, but will try it this afternoon. Thanks again
  17. Thanks I will try it
  18. Thanks for the replies. Chris yes all cables are in, the one that came with the Pi is in the console port to a USB on the PI, the other cable is in the CAN port on the battery going to the inverter and then the usb cable from the inverter to the PI.It look as if the program sees the inverter but at the CPU main and 2 it says ERROR READING DATA. Sidewinder I treid to unplug the USB but no luck. I am not sure if this can be the problem but when i purchased my inverter I was told this is a new model as the previous models only had output of 4000w and this one now as a full 5000w Thanks again for the help
  19. On the Inverter/battery settings tab at main cpu/2 it says "error reading data" and nothing displays further
  20. Thanks yes you are correct 2 sets of 3
  21. New to the forum and just got my solar system running. My system has 6x330w panels linked in parallel, 5kw Axpert inverter and 2 Pylontech batteries. Just got the ICC software up and running but only the battery info is displayed on Dashboard 2. The supplier gave me the ICC system but I cannot get it to work What must I change to get all the other info thanks Leon
