Multiple Circuits In Conduit
Plugs are rated 16A so 2.5mm. for two circuits, each with their own live and neutral and then a ground (I like insulated ground wires) another 2.5mm. I was gonna measure their diameter with my calipers, work out area, work out area for 20mm conduit, times by 0,45, and so on.

Eish. Can you maybe let me know where I can read up on this?

Multiple Circuits In Conduit
Total conduit space in circuit should be essentially less than half right?

Splitting of DBs
Hi All I have another question about splitting the damn DB. Essentially, I have 3 sources coming to my DB. These are Eskom, Inverter, Generator. I have figured out the way I want to connect these and looking at examples I will need 3 DBs.. minimum. However, SANS also emphasises the importance of "turning of the entire DB Bord". So Im not sure... 1. I put each supply's double pole isolator at the start of each DB. This seems the normal way to do it... But a little silly. 2. I have a single DB called "Main" which has the 3 supply isolators next to each other. I mean, logically this seems the safest option to me. Just flip everything off on this DB and everything is safe. However, in this case, I will have all 3 supplies in 1 DB which doesn't sound legal. 3. Get a 6 pole rotary main isolator. Just flip this off, it can even be mounted outside the panel per SANS, and you are safe. Any opinions? I still can't find the SANS regulations for splitting DBs I think its absurd. Thanks

I have written a version of this too. I'm open to anyone looking to take it to market.

Multiple Circuits In Conduit
Hi All I need some help on SANS regulations to be COC compliant. Lets keep this simple. I want to have to have a dedicated plug (red plug) and normal plug on a double plug outlet. There is currently one piece of conduit running towards it. 1. I believe I can run house wire in conduit. Correct? 2. Are the two circuits allowed in the same conduit? 3. As the circuits will share earth, do I need 2 earth cables or can I use a common one? Appreciate the responses. This is for an off grid installation and I will get an electrician to COC and connect to grid.
