Which are in Cpt you in? And how deep is the borehole? It's a frustrating situation. Where the pump is pulling water, you hear there is plenty coming through. But only for a few minutes.

I can do that. Will give it a try. But what are my options. If this persists? Do I go deeper? I'm trying to fill my water tank that is used for pool and irrigation system.

Hi All. Need advise on my borehole, please. I just had it recently installed with a control box. The borehole pumps water for about 2 minutes then that water stops but the pump is still running. I switched the wall plug off, waited about 1 minute and put it back on. The water starts again, but only for 5 seconds. The pump is still on but no water coming through. If I put the switch on immediately after switching it off, the pump I can hear but no water. Please help or advise what the problem could be. The guy who installed it has now gone missing and not answering my calls. He said that they went 26 meters deep and found good water pressure. I left it off overnight and switched it on the next morning. Again, it runs and pulls water for about 2-3 minutes but then suddenly the water stops even though the pump is still on. I am in the Panorama area in Cape Town. Where I was told wellpoint water is too weak and after spending money on the wellpoint option, that never worked I went for borehole but now have this issue. Hi boreholes. Need help please. Borehole pump pulls water from about 3 minutes. Then then the water just stops but I can here the pump still running. I'll switch the pump off for about 1 minute and switch on again. Then water comes running again for a few seconds then the water stops but pump is running. I left it over night off, switched on the next morning. Again same issue. Pulls good water for about 3 minutes then no water coming through. Please help!!! Just had it recently installed but the guy is now ignoring my calls.

Thank you. I will consider the Solis S6 and have a look at the Deye option as well. I do like the Solis S6 system though.

Hi All, As many of us are, I am tired of load shedding and looking for a hybrid system that will keep on during load shedding as well as to save on my electricity bills (approx. R3500-R4000pm for a family of 5). I am considering starting with a 5kw solar and inverter combo system. Solar panels will be 5x425w, Luxpower inverter and Dyness battery. This should power most of the essentials in the house. I plan to add to this system over time and add 5kw inverter, battery, and solar panels. Hoping to get to a 10kw eventually. Just wanted advise on this and your thoughts if this is a good idea or system. I would like to get my Eskom bill down as a first prize. Geyser is my biggest consumption with a family of 5 but also looking to run things off the panels during the day at least (Geyser as well if possible). Advice and thoughts are appreciated.
