  1. Feedback here, I have removed the RS232 card and the inverter has been working as should ever since. I use Home Assistant to monitor the inverter, so the WiFi card is not needed. Thank you for the suggestion.
  2. Thank you for the suggestion, will certainly try and see if I unplug the cable that goes to the RS232 card.
  3. Hallo, Anyone with some advice? As per title - Sunsynk 5kW inverter not working - no LCD, no LED lights Seems the inverter only passes the AC through, the battery does not get charged and seems there is no PV power. I have done a couple of restarts: Switch off PV, AC, battery and then remove battery comms cable. Wait a couple of hours. When the inverter starts up, the screen comes on but flickers, then the inverter is dead. About 5 months or so ago, the WiFi Dongle stopped working. Not sure if this is related.
  4. Thinking of selling my Sunsynk 5kW inverter. It is about 2.5 years old, bought in Aug 2023 Not sure about the hardware version, but software version - M 3.3.8.4 / S 1.5.1.5 / C E.4.3.3 What would be a reasonable price, for me and the buyer? I am thinking of someone that wants to parallel or start small and upgrade.
  5. I dont have a Power4Less inverter but have a Sunsynk. While idling, the inverter uses about 60watts per hour. Much the same you are seeing.

  7. You can contact the Power Forum Store, they will be able to get you in touch with a proper installer.
  8. You would need something that tracks the non essentials energy.

  11. I guess you are a installer. So you tell a client that with a 5kW inverter, you basically have one plug. That is sales talk. I run the whole house and flat from 5kW. 1 Geyser - 3200 watt 1 Geyser - 2100 watt Pool pump - 820 watt Microwave - 2000 watt Kettle - 2000 watt Airfryer - 1600 watt Rest of the house appliances is less that 500 watt each. So you must decide what you want to run when. The geysers doesnt run simultaneously. They also do run 24/7. They switch on and off. If your geyser is hot, you can run your base load, the pool pump, Airfryer and kettle.

  13. As per subject, anyone have experience with both? On paper the Lynks seems better since it has more power capability and seems to be cheaper.

  16. "Clean" electricity has been mentioned. Also blown fuses. Doesn't the inverter take the punch and provide your house with "clean" electricity? The grid can bounce up and down, your inverter should manage this and provide a stable connection to your house.
  17. Take it up with your landlord. The arrears is either the monthly fee or arrears on the municipality account. When buying prepaid credit, the arrears needs to be paid first.

  20. Do you mind sharing your code and wiring configuration?
