Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
IMD is a must in RVs here, regulation requires it And it will trip no matter what the leakage is, because earth and nutrual are bonded I really don't understand why we are going in circles here

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
Nothing is connected except the inverter... The IMD can handle many devices leaking some EMI The inverter is also before all RCDs And the IMD is at the highest trip rating (23kohm,230V)

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
There is no fault after the the IMD, there is only a fault when connecting the inverter ground. When the nutrual and earth are bonded in the inverter, the IMD send a small current to test for the fault, if they are connected the IMD will trip because current is flowing below set impedance Are you saying that nutrual and earth are internally bonded, but the earth of the chassis from the inverter that I connect to the earth busbar is not and should not trip? Seems odd because it's a common issue, have you taken a look at the posts I've attached?

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
The earth fault is caused by the internal bonding... What I'm asking is if there is a known solution for it? Like "grounding box" and such

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
Yes the IMD is connected to the ac output. To clarify, from what I understand the nutrual and earth of the inverter are bonded when using batteries - by design

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
Thank you Small leakage will not trip the IMD PV max is 145V I'm referring to the same problem has described in posts like this:

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
Utility is currently not connected and will usually will not be connected, but sometimes when going on a camp site it it be connected. What are the chances that the inverter has an earth fault? I figured it's because if it's internal bonding Attached a pic of the setup

Axpert King earth tripping IMD in RV
Hey I have the Conversol A8 3K, which is identical to the Axpert King 3K I've connect it to my IMD (IT system, similar to ELD) And the the IMD trips I know about the earth natural bonding when supplied from batteries, and I've searched the forum and saw a bunch of posts and endless discussions about it But didn't find a definite answer I can leave the earth disconnected, but the the metal body is not protected Is it safe to leave it on in the meantime? or I need to shut everything off until I solve it? (Will be left without electricity) Is there a definite solution? a regulation? a standard on what should I do? Thanks!

Conversol A8 3K firmware?
Hey, I'm trying to find a newer firmware for the Conversol A8 3K, which I think is identical to the Axpert King 3K https://voltaconsolar.com/products/off-grid-solar-inverter-3kva-parallel Where can I find it?
