  1. You're correct. That was just the reading showing what it was drawimg from the battery at that moment and not from the panels. It fluctuates as Inverter requires. There is enough solar to cover the load. As I have stated, If the load kicks in at 2kw (from 2kw geyser element) for example. The inverter would pull up to about 1.6 kw from the solar. When I interrupt the load from the geyser element for about 30sec, and putt it back on, the inverter would then suddenly start pulling 2.3 to 2.5 kw from the pannels. As if I did a reset on the solar charger. It would then happily stay at that level, sun allowing and also have capacity to charge the battery a bit as well. I think its perhaps a glitch in the firmware of the Inverter perhaps. What I have now noticed is that is does not do this every time. Sometimes it would draw enough from the pannels without me having to interrupt the load.

PV Input Power: 6200W Nominal DC Voltage/Maximum DC Voltage: 360VDC/500VDC Start-up Voltage / Initial Feeding Voltage: 60VDC/90VDC MPPT Voltage Range: 60VDC to 450VDC Maximum Input Current: 1/18AMaximum PV Input Power: 6200W I am still working to setup my monitoring software, (need to get the wifi dongle) however it was I checked it again today and this time it was pulling 2.3kw on a load of 2kw. Volts from the MPPT was around 270v and amps running at 16amps on the MPPT. What I do wonder is if its dropping watts and volts in order to compensate for Amps as the MPPT can max do 18 amps and the geyser element especiallty draws a lot of Amps. Thus the inverter has to compensate and also use the battery to assist when needed.
  3. I have a 5KW Conderenergy Inverter with 5Kwh SVolt battery and 3600 watt in pannels. My inverter would be running low load until the the 2kw geyer element kicks in. The inverter would then start pulling more power from the pannels as required with increased load. So @12pm on a clear day I noticed that the load would be around 2.2kw and the inverter would draw only about 1.6kw from the pannels and the rest its drawing from the battery. It I interrupt the load for say a minute (swithc off geyser and switch on a minute later), the inverter would then suddenly start pulling more power from the pannels, around 2.5kw and nothing from the batteries. It would in fact draw enough from the panels to carry the load and even charge the battery a little bit. It seems by disrupting the load a bit sort of does a reset on the inverter so that it draws the correct amount of power from the panels. Would anyone know what this happens?
