    I checked a recent display firmware, version 39.27 dated June 2024. For VM IV Twin, though that probably doesn't matter.
    All the protocols were implemented or at least checked for, except SHoto. This despite the fact that it's second in the list of names stored in every display firmware, with only PYLontech in front of it.
    So my wild guess is that they intended to implement SHoto early on, found it hard, implemented others that seemed more important, and never finished it.
