Error code 58
Hi Thank you for your response, herewith some answers: A] Are the AC outputs of the Ecco inverters and Fivestar inverters separate? Yes, the Eccos service three rental cottages and the Fivestar's service three cottages. Two separate outputs. B] Why don't you separate the battery bank half for the Ecco inverters and half for the Fivestar inverters? Should some of the houses use a lot of power and some a little, it balance each other out. If all separate, I will have to increase each battery bank. Some people us power in the evenings and some who works from home, during the day. C] Does the inverters communicate with the batteries? No, I could not get the communication up and running.

I have set bulk at 56.4, Float at 54v, equalization 64v as prescribed. Also lowered all, with no difference.

Error code 58
Hi, am battling with two inverters that cut off with a 58 error code as soon as the batteries are full. Setup: I have two Ecco 5.5kw inverters running in parallel and two Fivestar 6kw running in parallel and all four are connected to the same battery bank of 12 x 5.1kw SVolt Lithium batteries. (All Axpert) The two Ecco’s service one area and the two Fivestar’s another. Each of the four inverters has 9 x 550w panels connected in series. Float settings on all four inverters were set to 54v. (User defined) However, the two Ecco's will continue charging despite the fact that the float was reached, and then the two Five star inverters which is connected to the same battery bank will cut off and show error 58 as soon as the battery bank reach more or less 56.5v. (Possibly also damaging the batteries) In summary it appears that the two Fivestar’s cutt off because of high voltage on the battery bank because the two Ecco's keeps on charging beyond float voltage? I have lowered the float charge settings on all four inverters to 53v without success. The two inverters purely carry on charging above the set voltage. The battery bank is new and all connections are tight. The inverters are all new. The cut-off and the 58 error is not caused by high loads or spike but rather high volts on the battery side. The manual, as with most Axpert’s states that error 58 means “output voltage too low” The output voltage on all four my inverters remain steady at 230v. Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Negative reading on battery
@TaliaB I have charged all batteries individually to 100% and it seems like the problem is solved. I have also installed a 48v equiliser. Thank you again for your assistance.

Negative reading on battery
Morning. I have connected four new 200ah Mecer Lithium batteries in series which gave me 53v. Startup my new Vito Inverter and everything was running 100% for a few hours but the inverter then went dead. Tested the battery bank of four batteries and got 6.v volt. Tested the individual batteries, 13.1 + 13.1 + 13.1 and minus 35.6 on the one. Any idea what can cause this, BMS on the one battery?
