  4. Luckily not located in the Cape, but that is good to know! Any idea why the Victron's are not on the CoCT approved list out of interest sake?

  7. Thanks Talia! It is indeed the exact 48/5000/70-100/100, so was also thinking along the lines of monetary value and considering that I don't have panels yet it would work out perfectly.

  10. Thank you for the prompt response! The Quattro is indeed the 48v version, and feeding back into the grid is not really an option in our area (Pre-paid). The Quattro does have solar charge capabilities, thus why I had the Fronius in mind.
  11. Hi all! I want to ask some advice from the Victron experts on this forum. I work for a solar company and currently have a Deye 5kw installed at my home (Deye 5kw + 1 x Volta 5.12kw battery with no panels) and I have the oppertunity to swop my inverter for a Victron Quattro 5kw with a Fronius Grid-tied inverter. The Victron is just the inverter, no cerbo or anything else. I will add solar panels at a later stage, so the Fronius wont do anything initially. Is this a worthwile swop? Thank you for reading!
