  5. Thanks for the fast response.. So a few things to give background... When I went into this purchase I was totally clueless and relied on a reseller to spec and an electrician to install and setup. As time has went on I am learning and relying on forums such as these. So on the part of AGM being selected for the Lfp battery, that was purely on the installer. ON the part of there being comms, yes there is however I have recently become aware that I may be using the wrong protocol since I am unable to access the Parameter settings on the battery itself. I would however appreciate tips on the correct settings/parameters for the battery and in the event that there are swollen cells that need replacement, anyone who does this in the Joburg area. The battery is the 15 cell 5.09kWh version. The 16 cell variant was out of stock when I bought. I hope the pics I've attached are enough.

  7. Good day, I need your advice or help with my setup. I bought my SVolt 48V/5kWh battery that is paired with a KODAK OG5.48 inverter at beginning of this year. It performed really well in the beginning but since there has been no load shedding I did not notice that the performance has deteriorated until we had unplanned outages over the last two months. Now the battery does not even last for 3 hours when running lights and the fridge. When it gets to 89% SOC it switches off completely and when power returns, the inverter does not pick the battery up and i have to manually switch the battery on and reset it for the communication to happen and the battery to charge. Also, while charging and discharging, the battery level appearing on the battery itself and that on the inverter are at different levels. When looking at the BMS record there have been 275 OVP instances so I don't know if the parameters are incorrect but I cannot access them on the BMS i keep getting a message saying "Non-production manufacturer cannot use". The battery type on the inverter is set to AGM. I'd appreciate any advice before I find myself buying a new battery again because I am beginning to suspect that this one is fried
