I've reverse engineered some of the RS232 communication with my Wullils BMS. I expect that this script also works with the Volta BMS. It will report measurements via the commantprompt and via MQTT if you have a working MQTT broker.

I own a Wulills 5kWh battery with a Vkingner BMS, which is the same as in the Volta. BMS Tools works, but I'm struggling with connecting the battery with my Victron Multiplus II GX and with my other battery with a JK BMS. I've tried many protocols using BMS Tools, both CAN and RS485 but without success. I used the pin-layout suggested by the Volta manual shared in this thread.
