Good Evening, I have bit of a situation with my inverter, I have Kodak OG 5.48 Off Grid Inverter connected to a Greenrich U-P3686 Lithium 3.686kWh 5000W Battery. The setup works alright as it currently is, even though I don't have solar panels connected yet. The problem I have, is that I can not get the battery BMS to communicate with the inverter at the moment. I have the original BMS cable plugged in that came with the battery (Was gifted the inverter, so i don't have any of the cables or software CD that came with the inverter), but as soon as I change the "Battery Type" setting in the WatchPower app, or on the inverter itself form User to Pylon, then I get the Error 61 code on the inverter display, which I know is the Communication Error code, but I can not seem to get this code cleared unless I change the Battery Type back to User Defined. Am I wrong in assuming that having the inverter control the battery by "talking" to the battery directly would be more efficient for the battery, than having to set all settings for the battery manually as a User Defined battery type? Also, what else can i do or try to get the communication between the battery and inverter to work as the way it was designed to do? I have tried creating a new cable, but none of the pin-out options that I can find seem to actually work even though the battery and inverter are supposed to be compatible and able to communicate with each other
