RECENT UPGRADING OF MY SOLAR SYSTEM My initial solar system installed 2 years ago consisted of: 1. 1 X Deye 8kW Hybrid Inverter 2. 3 X Dyness DX 48100 LiFePo 4,8kWh Lithium Batteries 3. 12 X 455W Mono Crystaline Half Cell Solar Panels. Split into 2 strings from 6 Solar Panels each fed into the Deye 8kWHybrid Inverter. The installed Solar system performed well, although the power guzzlers like Oven, Stove plates, Dish Washer and Geyser were only used when the sun was shining brightly. The batteries were normally fully charged 100% by 13:00 on bright sunny days. I have recently had the Solar System upgraded by a Solar System Installer as follows: 4. Adding 2 X Dyness DX 48100 LiFePo 4,8kWh Lithium Batteries, being 5 X in total now, connected in parallel to the existing Deye 8kV Hybrid Inverter via the master battery. The 4 slave batteries are all connected in parallel to the master battery. 5. Adding 6 X JAM72D40-585-MB 585W, 44.22V, 13.89 A Mono Crystaline Half Cell Solar Panels to the existing 12 X 455W Mono Crystaline Half Cell Solar Panels. The installer changed the string figuration by binding the 12 X 455W Mono Crystaline Half Cell Solar Panels into one string fed to the inverter and feeding the new 6 X JAM72D40-585-MB 585W into another string into the inverter. PROBLEM: It appears that the original settings on the inverter have not been changed / adjusted by the installer. During full bright sunshine the battery charge will never go above 2kW. The solar panel power production will follow the house power usage and will peak 4,5 kW at times. REQUEST : Can the inverter settings be adjusted to allow a higher battery charge than the apparent 2kW maximum charge setting for the current upgraded system
