  1. Hi guys I have an interesting question related to three 5Kw inverters Single Phase paralleled with a Generator. This is a off-grid installation. The complete DEYE setup is amazing. Super configurable. I only have one small, and rather strange issue. For reference picture (thousand words ) The Generator is rated for 8kva, but for all intents and purposes, let say 4.5Kw is my target constant load... First things First. As with all settings where inverters are in parallel config, master settings propagate to the slaves. After experimenting a bit with battery charge limits, and changing the generator power rating setting the following became apparent, and is an interesting conclusion: In the above values as depicted in the image, the GEN rating is set to 1500W. This in theory limits each inverter to a maximum of 1.5KW from the inverter port. The inverters are obeying this nicely. The problem is this. When the generator is running, and providing power, The load seems to be EXCLUSIVELY supplied by the master inverter. When the generator is off, the load supply is balanced between all three inverters. This then adds to the total load drawn form the generator. It hits the 1500W limit, and as expected throttles back on the battery charge. The unwanted side effect of this, is that it then "matches/balance" the charge current to the batteries on the slave inverters, that is now throttled, to the master inverter... This is less than ideal. I have some workarounds to this to get where I want to be, but here are my TWO questions for anyone who has had some experience with this configuration: 1. Why is the load being supplied exclusively form the master inverter when the generator is running? 2. Is the Generator supply behaviour following the same priority as grid supply, in terms of load first vs battery first? Any input will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hey gents. This might be slightly off-topic, but is the infini's CRC same as normal axpert. using xmodem? I have this piece of code in python for a hass.io plugin I'm adapting: but keep getting nakk. I know I can just ignore the crc for the basic commands, but I have some future plans. command + unhexlify(hex(xmodem_crc_func(command)).replace('0x','',1)) + '\x0d'
