no no......it has RS485 only (no can) - but its not RS485 as standard JK and other BMS has. Its fuu duplex RS485 means it has TX and RX on separate wires. Its not compatible with any BMS on market. Its complatible only with EZ converter ;) yes I updated BMW to PB model but....useless. I must find somewhere EZ converter.

So...I found why its not working! My version 3648D-ES with 2x RS485 connectors is first generation without CAN!!!!!!!!!!! It needs legacy EZ-Converter to talk to CAN. RS485 for battery communication is DUPLEX! so no way to talk with any RS485 BMS, it only can talk to RS485 in EZ-Converter, then EZ converter talk CAN with BMS.... EZ converter is legacy device, no more available...it will be problem to buy it :(

yes there is some special procedure how to force this inverter to talk RS485 ...any ofcourse another cable due to pinout? but I made pinout for 100% right.. Problem will be that RS485/CAN. I ordered JK BMS v19 for inverters with CAN.... will see!!!!

Hi, yes...EZ manager and PV master see inverter, solarGO not. My inverter is old I think its problem. There is no problem with SOC DOD setting but how inverter calculate SOC :) batteries have 50V and inverter still shows SOC 83% :D. As I understand that SELF define is for PB batteries, not Li-on. I think i must try JK with CAN protocol and hope it will work! (and firmware upgrade with goodwe support)

I made battery :) searching JK bms which will talk with my ES. I look at BMS pinout there is RS485 but as you said...no support for it. Just CAN. So I need JK bms with CAN! as first... - SolarGO is not working with my 3648D-ES, it just wont find it.... ( I am asking goodwe for firmware upgrade, will hope after firmware upgrade SOLARgo will see it) - Selfdefine works but it has ciritical problem to estimate SOC, it just doesnt work. It bleeds battery to BMS limits, still showing 80% SOC. BMS cut "discharge"....after this, inverter cannot charge battery because it doesnt see that battery connected (because BMS is in mode: you can charge, but cannot discharge). This self define is for classic lead acid with PB... I need to trasnfer SOC value from BMS.

Hi, anybody have solution for Goodwe 3648 and custom battery with JK BMS? Goodwe has RJ45 port with both CAN and RS485, my JK BMS has only RS485. But There is no way how to choose what protocol will goodwe use? In PVmaster you can olny select few types of batteries ( I think its default all by CAN). Is there a way how to solve it?! Or just buy JK inverter BMS? thanks
