  1. Mecer 1200va inverter fan replacement?

    Unfortunately this unit is very different to mine. I cracked mine open to have a look around and it looks like it doesn't have the normal 3 pin connector (or pinout) to normal desktop fans. Yes sir. I think the gen 1 units didn't turn off but this is the newer one.

    Hi all I've recently got a Mecer 1200va inverter and would like to change the fan for something quieter. It looks like a standard 80mm 3 pin 12v fan so I was thinking of getting a quiet Noctua fan. Has anyone here done something like this before? TIA
