This conversation has become way too technical for me! Both methods may well work, one maybe better than the other or it may make no difference at all! But there’s one thing that you can be sure of - If you don’t follow the manufacture’s guidance as in the manual, your warranty will be invalid. It would be very difficult to argue in defence of a claim that relies on you challenging the manufacturers written instructions as being incorrect.
