Good evening everyone, My father is struggling with his two Sunsync 8.8kw inverter system. The one system is set as the Master unit and the other is set as the slave unit. The two units are pulling more power from the grid instead of the solar and batteries Today when I opened the units I saw that there was no CT control connected or running to the main live cable They are using over R4500 a month for prepaid power. What settings should I look at to get that under control please because it’s a fairly big system The system that he has consists of x2 Sunsynk inverters of 8.8kw each, 2 big lithium batteries one of the inverters is a master control and the other is slave controlled. There’s a total of 22 solar panel running them. Each panel is rated for 550w Does a Ct controller have such a huge impact to the grid supply coming in because at the moment it has no CT control. This system in theoretically should be able to power the house without the grid having to be used unless it reaches its minimum state of charge set for grid to kick in and charge those hours and then kick the grid off completely again Please could you inform me on how I should do this to stop the prepaid meter using ridiculous amounts of power and get the inverter to run efficiently and prioritise the solar more than the grid I want to go buy two CT controllers for these inverters but what also wonder is if the ct control gets connected to the mater. Will the slave inverter need one as well? Regard Slade
