  1. Wow theres power, need that for my EV Im buying
  2. Under what setting number you changed it to L16, I did not see that. Also note that I changed my battery back to Li16, Setting 8, back from from user, with all the other setting the same as I provided on the weekend and Error 64 did not come back again. YET
  3. It is setting 33 on the inverter settings.
  4. This is how I got my 8Kw Inverter to work flawlessly for the last two weeks. I have two solar strings facing east and west, 1.6 kw each. First switch off the Ac, than the PV and than the battery and lastly the inverter. Plug is comms between the inverter and battery. Let it sit for 10 minutes for capacitors to discharge. Switch on only the battery and inverter. Press settings and change as follows: 1.Ac Ouput. Mine is set to SOL but shouldn’t make a difference. 3. UPS 4. 46V 5. 54.8 6. SNU 7. 40A 8. USER 9. 56.8V Can go down to 56 if Error 64 persists. 11. 56.0 OR 55.6 12. 45.0 13. 10 14. 46 15. 46 16. Dis 22. dis 23. ena 24. ena 25. ena 26. dis 27. ena 28. 30A 30. Id1 32. Sla 33. Optional but some say the inverter learns the battery capacity.
  5. Hi, I will write everything down and post it
  6. I solved Error 64 by dropping Boost charge voltage to 56 and float charge voltage to 55.6. Also max charge current is set to 30. Amp.
  7. You’re options are SLA, 485 and Can only.
  8. I changed mine to SLA and WOw and can now change everything. But now I can’t see the battery percentage. The APP shows 78% and it was 100%. Anyone know the corrected settings for 32 and 33. Edit: battery quickly went to 100 Soc at 56 Volts where it seems to settle. Looks like this might be the correct settings. Will update if error returns.
  9. So I inserted the comms cable into the front and back ports and immediately my BMS changed to Pac and I was able to change my float and Boost charging Voltage down to 56.8. Only problem now is I cannot change setting 7, battery charging current is now stuck on 5. I hope this resolves the Over voltage issue. Will update if not.
  10. I did not know that I need to connect comms cables as I thought they are connected inside since it is a All in one unit. I see many openings, where to where must which cable connect? Thank you for that, might solve the problem This video does not show comms cables present
  11. No in BMS IT SAYS non production manufacturer can not use
  12. Hi Guys , I am still struggling with Error 64 coming up. Today it happened with Solar charging when the battery gets full. No Grid Coming in. Looks like it is Over Voltage on the busbar. Does anyone have a solution? Will it maybe work if I set setting 60, Charging Cutoff SOC to a lower value, say 95%. According to Grok, the BMS for these units must be set to PAC, can anyone confirm or deny it? I noticed on the SMARTESS app that my battery voltage is 59.4V when fully charged. Surely it should not be getting that High. Why is that happening. I think somewehere we will need to update firmware or something. Any comments are appreciated.
  13. Do you connect with solar assistant with direct wifi with the dongle provided?
  14. So after playing around with the unit I managed to change the Bulk and Absorption Voltage to 56.8. But I had to change the BMS Communication (33) from what loos like WOW to PAC. Unfortunately this changed the mains power charging to 5 Amp which cannot be changed, so I changed it back. I also think that some parameters can only be changed when the AC in Breaker and AC out is switched Off. Anybody know what the BMS communication must be on these units?
  15. Hi and thank you very much for this. Are you able to change the Boost and Float voltage as mine is stuck on 57.6 Volts. My Charge Current also remains below 35 Amp regardless if I try and change it. I see in the Manual when Battery is Li16 the Voltage should be 56.8V, yet mine is stuck on 57.6 which I believe is causing Error 64. Getting Alarm 64 when Grid kicks in, which usually clears on its own. I also only see PV and Battery status on the App, seems to be locked also.
  16. Everything is working fine, except an Error 64 that stops solar from working, does anyone know a solution. I cant change boost or float voltage which is 57.6 and I think the high voltage causes the error. I changed battery type to gel to see if it will prevent the error. Error usually clears itself
  17. I installed my setup yesterday, everything is working fine, ran on batteries only from 10 pm and had 60% left in the morning. The user manual is a joke. Pareameters are given for a 24 Volt battery. Instructions of interface and image in book completely different. many functions not in the book included See attached no cant get images attached
  18. OK I bit the bullet, lets see how it works.
  19. I am also looking at buying this unit. Power4Less Omnivolt G2 Hybrid Inverter: 8.0 kW, with bayyer. Can someone please advise if it has two MPPT trackers for Solar Panels, and if not what is the Maximun Solar Amps that it can take. I have west and East facing panels that must be connected on seperate strings or in parallel but the Chort Circuit Current will be 27 Amps. I know most inverters have a 18Amp Limit?
