Kalipo holdings installed solar system for me December. 7 panels, 2 batteries etc for R70.000. System is working well so far. Deye inverter and batteries. My problem with them is that the person who installed it did not follow my instructions. I said everything must run off the solar system. That is geyser, stove etc. He decided to exclude the oven. My stove is gas so it is only the oven. We are pensioners and are at home most of the time so we can manage usage and restrict usage of the oven and geyser for when the batteries are fully charged. They forwarded me a COC issued by somebody apparently working independently for them. This person never inspected the installation. He made mistakes on the form. Name was left out at one section, id number quoted incorrectly. He ticked the box confirming that all switches on the two DB boards were marked which is not the case. I do not get any assistance from Kalipo Holdings to rectify this. So your choice but looks like after sale service is poor and the person they used for the COC is not competant.
